About us
409th Manchester Scouts offers fun, challenge and adventure to members aged between 6 and 25 in the Wythenshawe area. We enable young people from every background to enjoy new activities; experience the outdoors; make friends; develop skills; gain confidence and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our adult volunteers help our youth members to shape their own adventure by working in teams, thinking for themselves and learning through participation. Our programmes offer fun and adventure, as well as learning skills for life. Come and find out for yourself why we are part of the largest coeducational movement for young people in the UK!
